Cookie statement

1. No cookies

Clovay.com places no cookies: no functional, no analytical and no marketing cookies. There are no visitor statistics, no tracking pixel and no advertising network.

The fonts are hosted on our own domain and are not fetched from a font service. As long as you are reading the site, your browser talks to no one but us. That changes at one moment only, and only if you start filling in the contact form: see below.

2. What does get stored

One thing, in your browser's local storage:

This is a preference of yours as a visitor and not a means of following you. It therefore falls under the exception of Article 11.7a(3) of the Dutch Telecommunications Act (Telecommunicatiewet), and no consent is needed for it. It should be mentioned, though, and that is what happens here.

You can remove it by clearing the website data for clovay.com in your browser. The site keeps working as before; you will then see the animation again.

3. The contact form and the captcha

What you fill in on the contact form goes to our server and from there to our mailbox. Nothing of it is left behind on your device. What happens to that data is set out in the privacy statement.

To prevent the form from being filled in by automated programs, we use Cloudflare Turnstile. It is only loaded at the moment you click in the form, and not before. If you only look around the site, nothing happens.

Turnstile places no cookie and stores nothing on your device. It looks at the behaviour of your browser and gives us a single confirmation that you are probably a person. Usually you do not have to do anything and you will not notice it. Cloudflare is the party that delivers this website and, apart from this, already sits between you and us; so no new party is added, and no data goes to a country other than where the site is already handled.

Because nothing is placed on or read from your device and the check is needed to be able to offer the form, this does not require prior consent. Should that change, you will read it here.

4. If this changes

If visitor statistics or another technique that places something on your device are ever added, we will update this statement and ask for consent where required. As long as this page says there are no cookies, there are none.
